The Astron report on the supplementary / repurposed drugs was groundbreaking for us - we went from feeling lost to incredibly positive about the road ahead. Having someone like Dr Padman on side as a supportive expert is absolutely priceless.

Dealing with a cancer diagnosis for a loved one is never expected, and can be overwhelming. There is so much (often conflicting) information out there that knowing where to start or what will help can feel impossible. Even with a science background, we quickly learned there’s no one-size-fits-all rule, and what works for one person may be contraindicated for another.

We were introduced to Astron Health and their work- having read a little about the benefits of genetic testing and the current limitations of that provided in the NHS, we got in touch. Dr Padman was incredible- he is a wealth of knowledge and took us through step by step what resources could be pulled on an international scale to help refine the genetic makeup of my Dad’s disease. All questions were welcomed and he was just always available for us, and with the level of care and empathy which can often get lost in the mainstream oncology processes.

Things moved very efficiently, and once we had the report we were able to see the targeted therapies that my Dad’s cells would be most responsive to and that he was partly already on the right track. The Astron report on the supplementary / repurposed drugs was groundbreaking for us - from wading through what felt like a mountain of different supplements, we were given specific objectives relevant to him. The oncology world is a giant can of worms, so it was such a relief to be given a succinct list. We went from feeling lost to incredibly positive about the road ahead, which at times like this, is immeasurably helpful.

Information overload is a real thing, and having someone like Dr Padman on side as a supportive expert is absolutely priceless. We cannot thank him and his team enough for the service they provide and their genuine care for those dealing with cancer.
